Multi-Modular
Here is a multi-modular patch, whereby I use the Buchla 200 MARF to control the EMS VCS3
This is possible because I modified the VCS3 Jones cable to be able to send and receive CV and gate signals
I’m also using the Roland 100M to add some filter modulation on the VCS3 via the pin matrix
The last bit of the patch is sending some triggered bursts of sound from the output of the VCS3 into the Buchla 200 delay and bandpass filters, which are being modulated by the MARF as well

Recrochet
Crochet is a process of creating fabric by interlocking loops of yarn
Recrochet is a process of creating sounds on a modular synth by interlocking loops of noise so that they sound a bit like early Tangerine Dream
Another Buchla self-player. Mainly using the 296 Spectral Processor and taking 4 different frequency outputs from it into 4 LPGs and then randomly panning the result with the 102 Stereo Locator

Miniature Moog
I put together a system in Photoshop that fairly much matches my original Moog 3C, just for fun (although its missing the big matrix mixer). I don't intend to buy any Aion modules at the moment, I just wanted to see what a mini Moog modular 3C would look like, OK?

Native Foundation
I was very honoured to be asked by none other than Michelle Moog-Koussa, daughter of Bob Moog, and director the the Bob Moog Foundation, to contribute some sound samples to a new Native Instruments PLAY SERIES sample-based instrument from some of my vintage modular systems. So I spent some time PATCHING (linked here) and sent them over. Well its ready for use now so go ahead and make some noise, 50% of profits go to the BMF, "Its for charity.."

Six Million Dollar Piano
Trying out a patch idea for a piano sound on the Moog 3C. (Patch idea based partially on an article by G.Reid, 'Synth Secrets', SOS magazine, October 2002)
Modules used (all RA Moog from around 1968): 5 x VCO, 1 x Noise, 1 x LPF (for tuning the noise), 3 x 4 :1 Mixers, 1 x Fixed Filter Bank, 1 x Spring Reverb, 2 x VCA, 2 x Env Gen, 1 x VCLPF, 1 x Multiple, Keyboard, Output Mixer with EQ
The patch is as follows: 3 square wave VCOs tuned to unison into a mixer and out into a fixed filter bank for fine-tuning the tone, then into a VCA/envelope with a very long decay (this models the piano strings)
A second bank of 2 VCOs and some tuned noise go into a second VCA/envelope with a very short decay then into the reverb module (this models the hammer hitting the strings)
These two signals are mixed into the LPF and the long envelope controls the frequency of this
No other sounds or effects are being heard
I only wish it was 88 note polyphonic! To buy the required 88 Moog Modulars to accomplish this would cost about 6 million dollars
