Trippy
Me and Paul headed down to Toulouse in the Saab at the invitation of Siestes Electroniques. It was a great road trip and a really cool little venue in an art center type place. We were well looked after [thanks Guillaume!] and it was sold out just for us - thanks french-people!
We played a synthesiser-only set, based loosely around Twenty Systems, as Paul used tracks from that [and some new sounds] with Traktor and I used modulars, monosynths and polysynths and my new Electro Harmonix 2880 looper. The full setup was:
Roland 100M modular [including analog sequencer]
Doepfer A100 modular
Roland JX3P and PG200
Roland SH101
Korg Monopoly
Casio MT400
Electro Harmonix 2880 looper
Ibanez AD80 analog delay
Boss DD3 digital delay
Everything was connected using CV and Gate and tweaked along the way by hand. The second [100M] and third [Casio] sections were made using the EHX 2880 by just playing fairly long [20 second-ish] loops and building them up sound-on-sound style. Below is the complete set, in four parts, taken direct from the stereo PA mix
