Here is a video of me on the big Moog. I have spent a few days this week being John Carpenter and Alan Howarth, which is a lot of fun. This tune is made on the Moog 3C, Yamaha CS80, Linn LM1, the main sequence is Arp Odyssey. In the clip I am adding a white noise part with the Moog filters and Moog 12 Stage Phaser. Everything is locked to a central clock
Wow. The only thing better than phased white noise is the eerily sinister sound of [simulated] hydraulic hiss. And you're being disingenuous - that sounded better than the typical Carpenter/Howarth work. Lovable as Carpenter's soundtracking was, it just wasn't at your level of accomplishment.
Great stuff again, totally agree with the above comment, Carpenter is just great, but this sounds better because there's more depth and more exploration - in my view of course. So with material like this I have to ask the question - when is the world going to get a new Benge album? ;-)
You've put me in the mood for watching Escape from New York. I'm hoping this style of music finds it's way onto any future albums you release sir. Superb.
