After our rehearsal we had a beer at the local. Outside the pub on Old Street there is a crazy big bicycle thats been there for months for some reason - street art? Anyway Phil had to climb up on it because it was sunny and he had a beer-rush

Theres always some kind of filming or photo shoot happening outside the studio. A few weeks ago Ridley Scott was here with Brad Pitt, and the other day someone was filming this ridiculous car dressed like an extra from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. I think its chosen as a location because its the last cobbled street in the whole world

Ok there is some Olympic stuff in town that is quite interesting, but it's not connected to sports. I went with some friends to see an exhibition down the road of BMW cars that have been customised by famous 70s and 80s artists (e.g. Andy Warhol, David Hockney and Jeff Koons). It is in the multi-story carpark in this post. Its called Art Drive! (when I first saw the poster I genuinely thought it said Art Drivel)

Golden Knob

Phil took us to Audio Gold up the road. Its a shop that sells and repairs vintage hifi. They also put on occasional parties, and we [Wrangler] might play there later in the year. Out the back in the workshop area they have what is certainly the biggest knob I have ever seen

I was driving through Dalston today and I saw one of the new London hop-on busses. I really miss the old routemaster thing where you could jump on and off whenever you wanted - it's so much better than sitting on the bus for 15 minutes right in front of your stop / street because theres a traffic jam. Can I decide when to get off please? I can now
