Um Dada

Here is a track from Mal's new album, which we recorded here earlier in the year. It was a really fun album to make - I love the way Mal uses his voice to become an integral part of the SOUND of the tracks. We spent a lot of time sampling his voice and messing around with lo-fi 8 bit samples in the Modcan modular. And used the Akai S612 a lot too to sample drum loops and keyboard loops. Its a damn great album, and even charted on the official US Billboard dance chart top ten! Woohoo!
