Drum Together


This is what a Moog 960 sequencer sounds like triggering a Simmons SDS200. The Moog is also sending voltages to control what would normally be the velocity from a drum pad. Cool eh?

Shapes In Space




Here is a new Benge album, part of the Forms series of single-synth records. Like on the first Forms album, I used the Buchla 100 system pictured below. But this time I let the Buchla do a lot more of the composing itself, which is why there isn't any melody or rhythm to be found on it! Its a set of really abstract explorations into the depths of 1960's sonic electronics

When applied to the trigger of a Dual Attack Generator, the exponential nature of a second Dual Attack Generator module (with a long decay rate) modulating the frequency of a Timing Pulse Generator, which is controlling the aforementioned Dual Attack Generator, produces this bouncing ball effect
