Hip Hope


I spent NY in Palm Springs earlier this year, and I can confirm that it is a pretty bonkers place. For example, look at this amazing / ridiculous house that was built by John Lautner in the 1970s for Bob Hope, which is for sale at $50 million (here is a brochure)



I think Lautner might be my favourite house-architect:

Steers



I spent the day with Serafina working on a short film soundtrack for her brother Sam. Its a sci-fi animation so it had to have an all-electronic score, including the SFX / sound design. We had to make some breathing sounds, the sound of waves on a beach and some bubbling lava so I did it on the Moog Modular
